Juniper Berry Juice

Juniper berries and crisp lettuce makes an refreshing yet unique juice. It may taste slightly bitter. But, they have calming features that may ease you into comfort zone instantly.

 

Makes 1 Tall Glass

 

1 1/2 Pears
80 ml Boiling water
135 grams Blackcurrants
225 grams Iceberg lettuce
1/2 teaspoon Juniper berries

 

1. Gently crush all the juniper berries. Boil in a small pot, and simmer for five minutes. Allow it to cool, and filter the juice and discard the juniper berries.

 

2. Roughly chop the pears and lettuce. Press the pears, blackcurrants, and chunk lettuce through a juicer.

 

3. Add in juniper juice, and pour into a tall glass. Serve immediately.
